So on 7 Jun I went to Reading Airport for the WWII Weekend - WOW!!! For 2020, the page is already up at:  https://www.maam.org/maamwwii.html

Not only the planes but the hundreds of re-enactors with their vehicles, tents, and equipment. Here are some of the pictures and videos.

On this Memorial Day in 2019, I thought I'd share more about the man who lies beneath is grave marker in the Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery, Romagne-Sous-Montfaucon, France.

Louis shown here sometime before his departure to France.

Several years ago I began to unravel his story which led me to find information on his brother Clarence who also served in WWI.

On the 100th anniversary of Louis Radlof's death I finished a summary of both men and their lives. Click here to read it

A slightly different version of this that focuses on Clarance can be found at:   http://freepages.rootsweb.com/~cacunithistories/military/1st%20TM%20BN.html

As the World Turns...

While everyone gets spun up or preps for tomorrows festivities in DC, I'm sitting in line at the Costco gas station, people watching.

Did you know about half the people who pull up to the pumps after sitting in line for 5 to 10 min take on the average 30 secs to exit their car, 20 secs to find their wallet to find their Costco card, 30 sec to  1 min to swipe the card, and another minute or two staring at the pump during this process.

Come on people, it's a gas pump, what is there to read?

Today, one person took about 2 min before they got out of the car after sitting for 5 min waiting for a pump to open up. Then looked at the pump for about a minute before swiping the card she had in her hand... geez.

Oh well the world continues to turn.
